I had always wanted to own a Klein back in the 90's - The shop I worked in at the time was not a dealer so I had to ride downtown to a shop that did sell them to get my eye fix. The paint was stunning, much nicer than the GT that I was riding at the time, and I did tell myself that one day I would buy one!
As much as I love the early 90's bikes with the MC integrated system I eventually chose a model with a standard head tube so I had more options with stem/bar choice and positioning, and could run more fork options as well. I found this 1997 Attitude Race in Malibu that was very well priced, so I picked it up.
It was completely stock off the showroom floor when I got it, but I wanted a more 'outrageous' build kit for it to show off some of the 90's CNC era flashy bits. I think the outcome looks pretty nice, Judge for yourself!
