2005 ELLSWORTH TRUTH

This is Dharma's bike. Dharma was a very good customer at the shop I was working in at the time. He had talked about building up his ultimate trail bike. We went through several frame ideas, and he settled on the Ellsworth Truth.

Dharma had a clear idea of how the bike looked in his mind, and came prepared with a list detailing every part that he wanted included. It made my job easy, all I had to do was place orders and assemble. The frame was anodised flat black, with matching swing arm. The rockers were silver. Avid Juicy Ultimate brakes with carbon lever blades, which matched the carbon Easton bars. Mavic Crossmax wheel set, XTR drivetrain up front and Sram XO at the rear. Fox Float front and rear suspension. It still looks unfinished in the photos, I had yet to get final position marked out for the cockpit so there is a lot of extra housing and steerer spacers!

In the end it all came together beautifully, and the look on his face when I delivered it to his house said it all. It turned out exactly as he had envisioned. I hope he is still enjoying it.
